Focusing Metalens Based on Nanopillars

Abstract

A focusing nanopillar metalens was designed using a pre-trained surrogate model, achieving an output wavefront that reproduces the target spherical phase. The results demonstrate that although amplitude and phase effects occur immediately after the metalens, the focus remains diffraction-limited.

Surrogate Model Training for Nanopillars

A surrogate model for nanopillar-based meta-atoms has been trained to replaces on-the-fly RCWA computations with precomputed responses.
