VirtualLab Fusion is a powerful simulation platform for the modeling and design of optical systems with physical optics. But getting to grips with its flexibility can sometimes mean a steep learning curve. We are here to help.
 

The most important document of VirtualLab Fusion is the Optical Setup, a virtual representation of the optical bench in your laboratory. The Start ribbon provides pre-configured examples of Optical Setups for various tasks from different fields of application. The Setups group in that same ribbon provides session editors and additional tools specific to the different toolboxes that deliver even more functionalities (like, for instance, our systematic design algorithms).
 

In our website you can find introductory tutorials as well as our ever-growing repository of use cases, most of which come accompanied by sample files which you can run yourself in VirtualLab Fusion. We recommend you to subscribe to our newsletter if you want to keep up to date with the examples we publish.
