Abstract
The Gauss–Bessel Beam Shaper combines a conical phase with Gaussian phase modulation to control the intensity distribution along propagation. Adjusting and optimizing the modulation parameters enables axial intensity homogenization. The component also exports the designed phase profile for use on a spatial light modulator.
