The Way of Fast Physical Optics Design Software

LightTrans GmbH was founded in 1999 in Jena, the historical center for applied optics in Germany, which to this day remains a vibrant hub for the development of optics-and-photonics-related research and technology. The two founders of LightTrans, Prof. Dr. Frank Wyrowski and Petra Wyrowski, pursued their vision to market a simulation software for a virtual, or digital, optical laboratory.

Since then our products and services shorten development cycles, or even make possible the development in the first place, of innovative optical components and systems. Over the years, LightTrans have introduced different versions of VirtualLab Fusion which have proved an impressive success.
