During the conference we will give two talks:

Modeling of Diffractive-/Metasurfaces and their Performance Evaluations in General Optical Systems

We will present a physical-optics-based approach to deal with the modeling of the whole diffractive-/metasurfaces, by decomposing the input field into numbers of sub-fields and studying the interaction of each sub-field with a local extension of the surface.

Insights into Physical Optics with VirtualLab Fusion for Optics Education

With the help of VirtualLab Fusion, we will demonstrate several classical physical optics effects, for example, diffraction from slits, Talbot effect, Arago spot (Poisson’s spot), Michelson/Mach-Zehnder/Young’s interferometers, Gouy phase shift, Goos-Hänchen shift, and so on.
