LightTrans International GmbH provides images in the LightTrans image database at www.lighttrans.com/media. The use of the LightTrans image database is exclusively subject to the following terms of use. By downloading the images, the terms of use are deemed accepted.

LightTrans International GmbH (hereinafter "LightTrans") owns the exclusive transferal rights, which are unlimited in space and time, including the exploitation rights of the manufacturer, in the images, i.e. photographs, drawings, video excerpts and all other visual representations (hereinafter the "image material") www.lighttrans.com on the LightTrans website.

LightTrans grants the visitor to the website www.lighttrans.com (the "user") permission to use works for the use of images exclusively based on the following terms of use, unless otherwise indicated.

II. Permission to Use a Copyrighted Work

The image material can be used in media for editorial purposes. LightTrans grants a simple right of use. For any other type of use, approval is necessary and must be sought via marketing (at) lighttrans.com. LightTrans reserves the right to withdraw the use permission at any time, with the consequence that the downloaded images may no longer be used. Use is free of charge.

A publication and use for commercial purposes (e.g. advertising) and the sale or sub-licensing of the image material is prohibited.

The image material may not be reproduced in any misleading sense. The material may not be used in connection with criminal, tortious or other acts of violation. Linking to the LightTrans image database is prohibited. LightTrans reserves the right to pursue any suspicion of inappropriate use.

LightTrans reserves the right to delete and modify the data contained in the image database at any time. The deleted data may no longer be used.

III. Extent of Use

By granting a permission of use, the user does not acquire ownership or initiators or copyright rights on the image material. Unless otherwise agreed, the permission of use of the works is free of charge, non-exclusive and non-transferable. The transfer of the image material or copies thereof to third parties is expressly prohibited. Digital image material may be transferred to the hard drive of a computer or to any other storage medium (but not to a network). The storage of the image material in digital databases is prohibited. All image material shall be safely kept by the user from access by third parties. The image material must be stated with a source and a copyright. The following name must be stated in every case of publication: © LightTrans International GmbH – Photographer name.

IV. The Duration of the Permission of Use

The duration of the permit is not be limited unless otherwise agreed.

V. Legal Consequences of Violations of the Terms of Use

The use of the image material in violation of these terms of use violates the rights of LightTrans and, if applicable, third parties. The user is liable for all damages incurred by the unlawful use. The user must bear claims of third parties and keep LightTrans harmless and accused of this. The user himself is liable for the fulfilment of all obligations from these terms of use even if image material has been passed on to third parties or the user has given third parties access to the image material in violation of this obligations under these conditions of use.

The use of the image material must only be used in accordance with these terms of use. Any deviation of the image material must be agreed with LightTrans without exception. In any case, infringements will always be prosecuted. Any violation of the terms of use also entitles LightTrans to prohibit further use of the image material.

For every publication in print, a specimen copy must be sent to LightTrans, without request and free of charge. In the event of online publication, a precise link must be sent to the e-mail address listed above. If this proof is not provided, LightTrans reserves the right to withdraw the authorization to use the work. The user is liable for any damage resulting from it.

VI. Guarantee /Limitation of Liability

Since the purpose of the agreement is to grant the image-use authorization free of charge, LightTrans excludes any guarantee, including but not limited to any liability for marketable quality, for incorrect image descriptions and for the selection of the image material for a particular purpose.

LightTrans does not guarantee that the image material is free from the rights of third parties, especially from copyright or trademark rights, or any other rights of exploitation. Using image material on which objects or signs that are specially protected (for example, by copyright, trademark or design law) are depicted, the user must therefore make an agreement with the authorized person.

Any liability of LightTrans for direct or indirect damage, lost profit, lost data, consequential damage and damage caused by third parties is excluded, unless there is an intentional or grossly negligent addition of damage. The user carries the burden of proof that LightTrans did not act negligibly or intentionally.

VII. Withdraw of the Image Authorization

LightTrans reserves the right to withdraw the use license at any time and without prior notice. The user has no claims against LightTrans.

VIII. Final Provisions

Should one or more of these terms of use prove or become void or ineffective, they must be reinterpreted or supplemented in such a way that the economic purpose associated with the relevant provision is retained. This does not affect the validity of the remaining provisions.

These terms of use are subject to German law to the exclusion of the reference standards and the UN purchase rights. Place of fulfillment and exclusive jurisdiction for all claims from and in connection with these terms of use is the seat of LightTrans.

LightTrans reserves the right to change the terms of use at any time by publication on the website www.lighttrans.com.

LightTrans reserves the right to further develop products and make technical changes and improvements without prior notification. As a result, technical descriptions and pictures may also differ from the current products.
