Sources of Diffractive Optics Toolbox

Diffractive beam splitters, diffusers and beam shapers are usually designed for monochromatic plane waves or Gaussian beam illuminations. This Toolbox also supports the design of diffusers for partially coherent sources. Beam shaping elements are typically sensitive for tolerances of the illuminating beam. The design features support the import of measurement data of the laser intensity and phase from bitmap and ASCII files. Polychromatic source analysis makes it possible to investigate the wavelength dependency and dispersion.

Analysis of diffractive beam splitting, diffuser and beam shaping systems can be done for monochromatic Gaussian beams, for beams with user defined intensity and phase distributions, polychromatic and partial coherent sources.
